The Dunn County Historical Society is excited to announce the commencement of the Dauntless Dunn Volume III.  Following the footsteps of the first two editions this county wide book will showcase the amazing people, families, and businesses that call Dunn County home.

.

For this we need your participation, photos, and stories to make this happen. It’s been 35 years since the last publication, and we would like to hear how your family has grown as well as new family entries.  Please consider updating your previous entry from Volume II or if you are new to our community tell us your story!

The Dunn County Historical Society is your local resource for family and local history.  Located at the Dunn Center Museum in Dunn Center, North Dakota the society works to keep our heritage alive and available to everyone.  Without your support and contributions precious memories are lost forever.  It is our mission to collect and record as much as possible whilst we still can.

Stories have to be told or they die, and when they die, we can’t remember who we are or why we’re here – Sue Kidd

Legacies are priceless.

My family was featured in the previous two editions. I have children and a story

Time left until Publication

What an exciting challenge lies ahead of me. I was offered the Dauntless Dunn project manager position by the Dunn County Historical Society to set the wheels in motion. We have the funding and now we just need the community to sharpen their pencils dust off some photos and get in touch. Two years will fly by so please do not wait until the last minute. I’m sure once winter sets in everyone will have more time to participate. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions and encourage your friends and family to take part. We are already accepting and receiving submissions which is fantastic. We all have a story to tell… Gee Knopik
